Question duel tailpipe opinions

I'm thinking of installing a. Si/do exhaust. I see most common tailpipe configurarion is straight out the back. I don't see out the side. Back of rear tires as much which in your opinion looks better... thx

I like em angled out behind the tires, that's how dad always had em on his truck so I guess that is what I got used too

I angled mine back toward the corners of the bed. I have crushed the tips on another truck than ran out the back. Probably doing something I shouldn't have been though.

Turn downs or out the back. I'm not hating on you guys, to each there own, but i think out the side looks tacky.

I was thinking. Of maybe the pipe between the lower rear quarter panel and leaf spring l. Don't have a pic of an example. If I went out the back id have the end of tip just under the bumper. Not passed looks to redneck .. just something different than everyone else is doing

First 2 are current and Roush style exit...last 2 are 45'd at the bumper corners flush with the bumper.

I did have my exhaust dumped before the rear axle for about 6 months before i had it all redone. I learned that I definitely like having my tips visible and it sounds much more aggressive to my ears this way even with the old 18" body muffler.
Of course an 11" body muffler will make anything loader i guess.

Being dumped was not as loud but it did have nice idle rumble. I thought i would like the stealthy look but i didn't.

Not many trucks have it before the rear tire around here but more of the straight out the back setups.
