Default Dual Exhaust Advice!

hey guys i just got quoted on an all stainless custom dual exhaust for about 600 dollars out the door.. he said he'd let me hear different "knock off" mufflers they put on my truck, and it's all welded. knock off only because they've stopped going through flowmaster and all that because they were making them raise their prices. Anything else i should know before going into this to ask them? I'm pretty sure the price is good but first time doing this. Advice?

600 is expensive with knockoff mufflers. 600 is average for flowmaster setup.

Ask them what brand is "Knock-off".

If they are calling Magnaflow the knock-off brand that's a pretty good price. You could probably find a little better, but it's not bad.

600$ could be good depending on what all is done, if its a true dual with stainless mufflers id say thats good.

I can't ever imagine paying 600 for exhaust. Are y'all just getting mufflers and new pipe or new cats as well?

RIP OFF! $600? for an exhaust? dont do it man. get your muffler/mufflers you want and your tips and have someone custom weld it. i had mine done for $200. no need to go with stainless steel either. just paint the pipe with some high-temp paint and youre good to go.
