Default Thinking of getting a detail....

I have only one true "detail shop" in my area (30 miles) and i stopped by today and got a quote to do my Screw, and they said they would do the whole thing for $120.

They promise to do all of these things and said i was more than welcome to stop by during the day to watch/inspect:

-Wash and wax body
-wash and degrease under hood/wheel wells
-polish rims and tires clean windows inside and out
-steam clean all interior(carpet and seats), including removing all molding along carpet to get the real junk out and steam cleaning that too
-clean out all crack and stuff in dash and clean it

I do a pretty good job keeping the truck clean but i dont go to the extent they are going to (steam cleaning and removing all moldings and stuff)

I guess overall do you guys think this is worth $120?

lol holy crap i had better jump on this deal then. I figure i could spend $120 in quarters at my local car wash and never do what these guys can do. do you believe steam cleaning the seats will take out some water stains that are on my back seat? i have some pictures in my gallery if you want to take a look!

Thats a pretty good deal for wash/wax & steam clean interiors. There are lots of mom & pop shops that offer that around here in Houston TX... A buddy just got his MegaCAB 2500 done just like your offer, for $95. I'd jump on it like a girl after the prom.

Do it.....just make sure they give you all the "crack" back. Then you can sell it and cover the $120 detailing cost.

i do it about once a year to my truck, i like to think of it as givin my truck and myself a clean christmas gift haha, another thing you can do is use one of thoes hand held rugdoctor thing and use it, its sprays a cleaning solution on your seat then vacumes it out, i did that a few times and it worked really good, im gonna do it again soon then put some scotchguard on the seats

I prefer the Ma and Pa places myself got my truck washed and int. cleaned for $40 bucks but he was so surprised by how clean I kept my Interior that he felt bad and waxed it for free! Was a subpar wax job but was still nice!

Love my Lariat Interiors
