You should have the relay and circuit in there. You just need to add the resister and wire it up. Check out this article.

That article worked great for my 02 although the module was very difficult to find. Found one and only one in Florida. However I don't think that works for 04-08. @hahanson didn't you have yours wired for DRL? You had pictures and everything right? I was going to suggest the OP asked you. Were your pictures and how-to not actuality?

Is this not how your lights are wired hahanson? I was going to eventually do this but now I'm questioning the reliability of the information.

I didn't actually enable the DRL. I just used the power source to power LED halo/DRL in my aftermarket headlamps (didn't use the resister). I put my OEM headlamps back in and used the DRL circuit to power a different LED/DRL, which also has sequential turn signals:

Here's the old headlamps where the LED/DRL and halos were simpy powered by the DRL circuit:

normally there's a resistor near the front bumper, and the circuit goes to the regular headlamps which run much dimmer due to the resistor.

It's still powered by the DRL circuit and is on a relay, so if it fails, the headlamps still work. I simply chose not to use the resistor. Make sense?

Ok so what you posted earlier will work as a DRL? Also by the way I like the looks of the LEDs in the bumper I might have to add some in there to my truck. I will want all my LED tubes power as DRL eventually.

Yes, I use the DRL circuit minus the resistor. This way, it's on its own relay and powered with the ignition.

My wife gets a kick out of the sequential turn signals

I wanted to run them inside the headlamps, but my lenses have little micro cracks and was afraid I'd break them pulling it apart, so I installed them between the bumper and filler to see how that would look. Those tubes are a bugger to install as nothing sticks to them.

I also removed the tinting as it was simply too dark.

Not sure how it's all going to end up in the end, or even if I'll ever be happy enough it becomes permanent, lol.

Did you try 3m emblem tape? It holds mine in place even with a bend in them. The tube was kind of a soft coarse plastic and it stuck them down.

Yes. Didn't stick at all -- stuck to the bumper real well, tho! Hot glue won't stick. It's a real soft, pliable rubber. It's actually glued in right now but the glue isn't actually stuck, it just prevents it from falling out. I haven't tried silicone though. Here's how it looks at the moment:

Think I need to replace the turn signal bulb with a single filament that doesn't blink.
