Default Driveshaft Noise?

There seems to be some sort of a screeching sound coming from my driveshaft when it is in motion. It doesnt happen all the time either. It sounds like maybe a light scraping of metal that makes a high pitched screech. Does anyone have an idea of what it could be? I thought it was something with the brakes but the sound comes from the end of the driveshaft where it connects to the pinion shaft in the differential. Any ideas?

almost at the 100K mark. I heard the U joints on the driveshaft are not replaceable and that I would need a new driveshaft. I dont know if thats true or not just what I heard.

Sounds like BS. They should of said that are not serviceable, I.E. that you can not grease them. But as ryguy said, use spicer joints and thy will have grease fittings
