drivers side power memory seat, power pedals & power mirrors not working
#21
Does this "fix" apply to a 2001 F150 Lariat? Cause I am having the exact same problem: power driver seat tilts back, but does not go forward or back, pedals don't work, and outside mirrors tilt side to side and down, but not up. Bought this truck a week ago. Had husband take a look at it but we couldn't see a yellow-light green wire anywhere. Or any wire that looked spliced.

It worked !! I opened up the sill followed the wires to the orange one with green stripe .. And there it was corroded and split in half at the weld ... I would like to add that this all happened do to the leaking light on the cab of my truck of which I actually thought was the window but turned out to be a bad seal around light .. After months of wet carpet and foggy windows I think it's all fixed )) yay !! My husband is really happy I fixed it sobhe didn't hv to !!!!

I've got a similiar but different issue. My power seats, mirrors, and pedals all work, but the drivers side memory buttons and key fob are not working? I've checked the fuses (12 and 18) and they seem fine. I looked for the orange and green wire, but did not find any splices. Could it be the memory seat module? Any suggestions? My truck is a 2010 F150 FX4 with leather interior. Thanks.

Is the starting point the group of wires all taped together "under" the fuse box?

SOLVED - No Power for Drivers Seat & Side mirror Adjustment
Thanks to this forum for saving me hundreds on my 2008 F150 fix. My mirror power adjustments went out a while back and I let it go when I could not find the reason (fuse is good). The Mirror folding function never went out.
Finally, the Driver seat adjustment power went out and now other drivers can not drive - so I had to get fixed. The directions in the forum to re-splice the wires under the fuse box are perfect. Once I completed this task the Driver seat power and the power mirror adjustment worked again.

I have the same issue with a 2006 ford f150 lariat the drivers seat won't work, pedals won't work and mirror adjustment won't work. I removed the sill on the passengers side found not one two orange with green stripe wires followed them to where turn begins to the fuse box but I have not found any splices. Please help. If anyone has a picture of where the splice is located it would be a great help. Also, it stated that the orange wire splits into two when I opened the wire loom I found two orange wires with green stripe. I have a crew cab with four doors would the splice be at the back door sill? Is that why I am not finding it. Any help on location of this splice or the right wire would be great.
