Default Dorman vs Motorcraft FPDM

Two questions here:

1) does anyone know the correct Ford p/n for the Motorcraft FPDM? I haven't been able to locate it.

2) Any reason to prefer the Motorcraft part? I'm a "keep it OEM" type guy in most cases, but it depends on how much more this will cost over the Dorman.

Truck is an 06 F150 screw 5.4 2WD with 109xxx miles on it. I'm wanting to change this before it goes bad.

Out of the box the Dorman beats the motorcraft part, the standoffs will keep the FPDM away from the frame. Don't know if the OEM part has been changed or not.

Hmm, alldata doesn't show the p/n for this one. Have you tried the motorcraft website? You can get part numbers by VIN there.

Have a Dorman in mine. All is well. Plastic won't rust.
