Default Door not shutting properly

Anyone have the issue where every time you go to close the door you have to slam it to get it to shut all the way? It seems like it happens more on the driver side then the passenger...not a big deal but it's annoying to shut my door, walk away, then having to turn around to slam the door again...almost seems like an excessive amount of force to just shut it.

I have a scab 08 STX. I made sure my back doors are nice and closed. It seems to be more problematic when the weather gets colder, but that can just be me imagining things. Anyone else have this issue? Or know of a fix? I tried looking at if anything in my side compartments are contacting or if there's something getting stuck but I'm not seeing anything.

I'm guessing you have a screw?

I was reading a different thread on here regarding door rattles, got me thinking when they were talking about the bumpers, I'm guessing it's the little black rubbery thing between the doors? I'm wondering if the cold is making it stiffer, so it doesn't "squish" between the doors as easily...causing it to not shut properly. Although this doesn't explain why it seems to happen more on the driver side...

I have the EXACT same issue, especially when it is cold.

Same here. Annoying, since it only happens during 32 or below temps. I also have an issue with my latch getting stuck open when the temps fall below 10, causing me to have to hold my door shut until the cab warms up.

Maybe some wd40, silicone spray or penetrating oil sprayed in there would loosen it up.

Maybe, but I get nervous just spraying lube or penetrating oil in spots like that blindly. I believe it to be moisture from carwashes past that freeze on the mech.
