I think the autolamps are disabled when a door is opened, if so then the faulty door switch would account for that. As far as the locks, I suspect the master control switch in the driver's door. They're known to be problematic.

Fixed!! The door ajar light and the door locks. Gotta wait until dark to check the auto-headlights. Yes the door locks, door ajar lights and auto-headlights all go through the bsm. I unplugged the BSM and shot the wires. Even put power onto the outputs to the door actuators. They must ground through the BSM also because they didn't work. I did more research. Figured put the plugs back in and check the wires from the backside of the plugs. Turned the key on with the doors closed what? No door ajar light. Tried the door lock switches. All good.
I work on airplanes for a big company that flies lots of people on big airplanes. I get very strange looks from crews when I've fixed weird issues by "reracking the boxes". Unplug plug back in, in airplane fixin' terms. That technique applies to land based vehicles too. LOL Thanks for the help guys.
