Default door locks only work with remote

Hi fellow Ford people! Newbie here.

I just bought a 2005 Supercrew FX4. The door locks only work with the remote. They will not lock or unlock with either door switch. I got wiring and connector diagrams from All Data. The only fuse I found was F22. It has power to it and it is not blown. Checked wiring per the diagrams, power, grounds, continuity at the switches no trouble found. Anything else I should check before changing the Body Control Module.

Also, the door ajar light is on. I soaked all 4 latches with penetrating fluid. Light is still on. I have an "A" position to the left of the "O" position on the headlight switch. From what I read this is automatic light position. It isn't working either.

All 3 of these problems related? Thanks in advance for any tips or advice!!

I really don't think your 05 has a BCM.. I would check out the drivers door master panel and the wiring between the door and cab ...there is a door ajar safety switch. Auto head lights ...ensure sensor is working...that also could be the switch.

The all data diagrams show the door switches send a ground signal to the body security module and I've seen it referenced as the body control module. I'm assuming they are the same thing. From the module power is sent to the door lock actuators.

You are looking at the body security module located behind the back seat... not a body control module.

yes. Are they the same thing? I've read text referencing both. Sounded like they might be the same thing. I forgot to ask that in the original post. So they are different then? Anything to check before I change the body security module?

97-03 plus I believe the 04 Heritage has a BCM ...04-08 has a BSM.. never heard of our year BSM being bad.. not to say its not. I would think sense the doors will lock and un-lock with the FOB that the module is working..Do you have a door key pad and is it working ? not sure if the door ajar light and the Auto heads are all tied together...could all be separate issues.. like I mentioned before .. I would test all the door safety switches first..because it does not tell you what door is ajar.. and pull and test the head light switch.

No keypad. Where exactly is the bsm? All data pic is vague. I was going to shoot the wires from there and put power to the locks from the bsm connector. OK door and lights separate issues. Tackle those after I fix the door locks

SCAB and SCREW is located behind back seat mounted to the back of the cab wall.
