So I arrived back from a 3k plus trip to the nw at the end of April. I was getting some hesitation and discovered I had very low fuel pressure. I put a new Motorcraft pump in and still had the plug coil codes pulled them out and the electrodes were burned through like air was getting around the plug
so I watched the Ford tech makeuloco video on counterfeit parts and discovered every plug and cop I bought on ebay sold as Motorcraft was fake.
I purchased new Motorcraft plugs and cops from orielly all replaced on passenger sidel along with 3 new connectors. I had recently replaced two on drivers side . Should have figured out something was up because I only had 20k on plugs and cops when they began to fail. Now I know they are torqued correctly
