Donahoe Racing(Icon) shocks? Need info please
When i bought my truck it came with Donahoe Racing (now called Icon Vehicle Dynamics) front leveling shocks.
Here is a link so you know what im talking about: http://www.iconvehicledynamics.com/s...Shock-Kit.html I dont know anything about them other than they're aftermarket and you can adjust the ride height from 0-3". I love the way they ride and the truck being levelled. What I want to know is when the time comes that the strut/shocks need to be replaced, what do I replace it with? Its obviously a different setup than the stock struts so im not sure what to replace the shock part with. Anyone help would be greatly appreciated? I still have the factory Ford shocks, so I wanted to find out if I can replace the Donahoe ones if need be before I get rid of the stock ones. |

is this what you are looking for? How do you like these shocks? I was looking at getting the package for all four corners http://www.iconvehicledynamics.com/s...on-System.html |
Yeah, I did find that too but strut assemblies are freaking heavy, shipping would be super expensive to them and back plus 250 for both socks. And I don't know what I would do for the time it takes to rebuild and ship back.
Anyway I do like them, they came with the truck when I bought it. the suspension is really smooth but for that price I wouldn't spend that much on so leveling kit myself. I have had the metal spacer ones and it was just a smooth a stock. And now I'm in a bind off what to do cuz I can't just replace the shocks like you can a stock assembly or a bilstein . |
