It dims the lights on all the gauges and buttons at night, great to use on long drives to give a little eye relief.

Or if you click it all the way up it will turn on all the cargo and dome lights, just make sure to unclick it when your done because they will stay on.

Oh thank you. Ha do you have any clue where the tow/haul button would be? I don't imaged I don't have it. The truck is a 2004 New England edition lariet.

As far as I know this generation doesn't have a tow/haul button that I have seen anyway. You can turn the overdrive off that will help with towing if your going over hills and such. Not sure where it is on the console shifter like you probably have, I have a steering colum shifter and its at the end of that .

I looked through the manual and service manual and didnt see anything for a tow/haul button

Okay. Thank you. I was thinking maybe if it didnt have it it's because the 5.4L is already such a big engine!

"O/D Off", but it's not call "tow/haul". A lot of these things are in the owners manual. If your truck came without one you can get it here free...

If u have the column shifter the O/D button is on the end of the shifter and if it's the center shifter the button is is next to the shifter on the console, this works the same as the tow/haul.
