I agree as well with being able to see more on county roads, heck it's a fast, cheap, easy mod! Why not!

Does anyone have the schematic of that section of the circuit? It stands to reason one of those pins on the relay is a ground, then you could just solder a wire between to the the pins, then you don;t need an external ground.

You run a ground wire to one of the prongs on the fog light relay so they can stay on while the highs are on

Thank you so much for this thread I just did the Bambi mod and it took under 5 min! Ill post up some pics tonight maybe or tomorrow lol

so will daytime running lights still function correctly or do you actually have to turn the switch off?

FYI: You're only legally allowed to run 4 individual lights at once on public roads, any more than that your vehicle could get impounded.

What nanny state do you live in that they impound your vehicle for having more than four lights on? Where I live police are too lazy to pull people over for
speeding, let alone for more than four lights on.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't advocating running with all those lights on the street. The would be great where I live, just country roads with tons of damn deer, though!
