Did the "Bambi" mod today

That's what it looks like. I'm going to be trying it later this week. Google is a pain but that is how I found it. Searched for it and got mostly Chevy forums but found it on the 6th page or so.

Which is why this mod is so pointless. The whole point of high beams is to provide distance vision, not foreground. Intensified foreground lighting dilates your pupils and creates worstened focus down the road, which is why I advise against this mod. The OPs case is even worse because the cheap drop-in HIDs emit excessive amounts of glare, rending this mod detrimental to both his vision and that of oncoming traffic.

Not that I have much to say about hids but I comedy on the Bambi mod itself. I do not intend to insult anyone or there opinions but the last post had made a few comments about this mod messing with your vision I disagree I have done this to my truck and now the light output is the same as my wife's edge. That SUV's low beams stay on all the time and when I activate the high beams a second set of bulbs are activated. Unlike my f150 with the duel filament setup. I do prefer the full elimination this gives on my farm style roads here in the coal region of pa. But then again that's my opinion And if you want to see something mess with your vision drive an emergency vehicle in weather with lights activated. That will mess you up

I think this is the best mod I have done to my truck. I live around a lot of farm land with tons of cows. Both my sister and my fiancé have totaled vehicles because of black cows on the roads at night. This mod gives more light therefore more visibility. I give it 5 stars!

Yeah this mod works great for me. I have 100w h5 bulbs in the fogs which helps a lot too and piaa bulbs in the headlights that are a good bit brighter. I drive home on a dark 2 lane rd every night with a lot of deer so this is nice.
