decision time, help me make one

ive done some research, got 3 quotes and would like you guys to tell me which is the best option.

tire size is 37x12.5r20

for the procomp AT tires, 4 wheel parts has quoted me about $2500 out the door (dont remember the exact price). this price is most expensive and its with the promo they have going right now where you buy 3 get 1 free. without that promo it would be about $3200 out the door

nitto trail grapplers m/t, big o has quoted me $2124 out the door

toyo open country m/t, big o has quoted me $2427 out the door (this tire is 13.5 wide)

with that said, i dont care which one looks the best and i dont care which is the best off road. my main concern is tire life. i have khumos on the truck now, the guy at big o said either tire i choice (from the two he quoted me) will last double what the khumos did. he also said the toyos would be good for about 10k longer then the nittos

i appreciate all help guys, hoping to order next week.

also looking forward to roasting the 37" khumos with the help of my turbo...should sound/look awesome:thumbup:

Ebay has the Nitto Trails for $2,086... With $80 shipping
Kumho KL71 will cost ya $1710.00 with free shipping..

As you said... Tread life... I'd rather have tires that last longer being that i'm paying 2 grand or better for them.. I have Nitto Trails with about 5,000 miles on them.. No signs of wear...

I have a little over 10,000 miles on my Nitto Trail grapplers and they will be 1 year old in January. they have held up real well, And I can expect them to last me another 30,000+ miles.

40% city driving
30% Highway
30% dirt roads
here is a picture of how the thread looks on them as of right now, I know they are really dirty.

Ive owned 2 sets of Nitto A/T's now got about 35k out of both. About to order my 3rd set. Love them, just wish they had a little better tread wear. I'd say my mileage is split pretty even with Highway & City....Hardly ever off road though.

I have ProComp Extreme A/Ts, which garner the 40K miles warranty instead of the 50K miles warranty afforded by the regular A/T.

My tires have 33K miles on them now and about 25%+ tread remaining.

Nitto/Toyo (same company) would probably be among my last choice along-side Yokohamas. The Asian brands often get "placed" in our market at cheaper price points, but I can't honestly say if they're a better or worse tire.

Opinions on tires will range as much as choices on brands of oil; it's highly subjective. I find that most A/Ts will last 40K to 50K depending on your driving style and terrain.

FYI: ProComp = Cooper Tires [USA]

IMO. Bfg's that size look retarded. They look like balloons. And I HATE my bfg's.

BFG All-Terrains or Mud-Terrains are amazing tires, they wear great, handle well, and IMO look fine. Any tire that size looks like a balloon, but maybe I am just shallow, the pro comps are decent tires, as are Hankook DynaPro ATs, ecspecially for the price, wife had them on her lifted dakota, and within a year they looked new

I'm with you.. 37's with the right size lift wont look as big... They'll look big to guys still running 31 and 33 inch tires though..

Out of your 3 choices....Toyo's will last the longest and perform the best.
