Default Tire suggestions please

I am a proud owner of my 06 f140 4x4 but I'm almost ready to buy my 4th set of tires. First set were dick Cepeks then Mickey Thompson baja claws and now I have Kanati mud hogs in which I hate because after wearing them halfway down the balance became out of control. There is about 15-25 ounces of lead on the 2 front tires so I will never buy them again. I'm running 35/12.50 on 17" dick Cepeks and I like the aggressive look with the width and large ***** but I need a set that will last me longer than a couple of years. I use my truck mostly on pavement so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have had mt atz and they seemed like they would last. They have an aggressive look and make some noise on the road, but probably less than any mud terrains.

Agreed on the Nitto Trail, Toyo MT, BFG MT, or even the DuraTrac, or Cooper STT Tek3.

And these aren't my favorite tire but I've heard good things about the hankook MT

I have Yoko Geolander ATs. I have 44k on them now and I would say they are about 1/2 tread left.

The key to any tire is to keep proper inflation, keep your truck alligned, and rotate them.

Just a suggestion but the Cooper STT looks almost identical to the Toyo for a considerably better price.

I "heard" that Toyo actually makes the STT and ATR for Cooper. Can't confirm that but if you look the ATR is almost identical to the Toyo AT2.

I think they are just playing copy cat honestly but for the price you can't beat it! Especially since the tread pattern is basically the same.
