Thumbs up Custom enclosure under the back seats of my scab that houses speakers!

Made this guy last weekend, and I am really pleased with how it turned out. It hides my speaker amp and sub amp. Not to mention the wires to both. It also provides a little bit of storage under the back seats. In the last picture you can see my eagles nest and straps. It's the coolest hammock ever. Totally unrelated but FYI. Tell me what you think!

Details? What size speakers? Does it have a top and bottom to the box or is it just open like in the last picture? Measurements? (height) ?

Sadly, the real reason I clicked this thread was because your name was Owasso, and I'm from Tulsa. Although the box is pretty sweet. Build any dual 12" subwoofer boxes lately? Maybe what that fits under a 2004 SuperCrew backseat, and allows an amp to sit in between the subs?

PS: Here's a link to the "Oklahoma" thread;https://www.f150forum.com/f44/oklaho...19672/index75/.

Glad that locals are on here! And ironically I posted a dual 12" sub box on the tulsa craigslist today! It isn't made to fit under the seats like this one though. My new box is all made except for the face that holds my woofer because I have not ordered my new one yet. Hopefully this week!

Well my back seat is lower in the back than the front so the side pieces that I cut were 7" inches long. Towards the back where the seat is lower I made it 6.75" tall and 7.25" tall at the front corner. I believe that I made the front face of the enclosure 51" long (7 1/4" tall across the front). The only difficulty I had in building this was making that curve in the middle fit right. It is made out of 3/4 particle board (just because it is cheaper than MDF) and those are cheap kicker 6.5's that are amped. Also, yes it is just open because I use it for storage ( 2 amps, and jacks). If I made it have a top and a bottom there would have been significantly less space. Plus an enclosure is not crucial for speakers.
