You know that little cubby underneath the radio/ac controls that is about 3 inches deep and totally worthless. Is there any way to mod that/make it deeper so I can say put my ipod in there and not slide out when I hit the gas or use it for other storage?

I cut a hole in the back and mounted my trailer brake controller in it. That tray is useless.

If somebody has done something cool with that, please share. The most use mine has seen is holding an airfreshener.

Are you talking about the slide-out cup holder/ash tray? My tray is missing, but my Bluetooth obdII adaptor fits there perfect, and the tray even closes with it in there.

I installed LEDs under the dash and seats,put my switches in there.they are out of the way and hidden.I totally agree its a useless tray.

i drilled a hole in the back and mounted my cb in there. not much else to do. i had thought about the switches also.
