Default Seat Recover

I am sure this post has been on here a few times but I have not seen them if so. I am looking for a place to buy the foam and cover for my front driver seat. Thanks for your help.

Here's what I'm doing:

• Picked up a matching color passenger seat in excellent condition from the local Pick n Pull for $15
• Carved the foam to match the driver's side seat plate and added some poly top and bottom
• Having a seamstress transfer the side panels from the old seat cover to 'new' one - $40
• Will replace fresh seat cover when she's done - hog rings and all

i purchased a 'Durofoam' driver seat cushion from amazon. It is made with a firmer (slightly) material then oe. My cloth seat cover wasn't ripped so i kept it. This has been the best upgrade ive done so far. The new cushion is great and makes the driving experience better.

I seen those for around $125. The cloth cover's seem to be around $225. I was think that was a little high just to redo the bottom of the seat. I was hoping someone had a cheaper place to get this stuff or something.

Default Dealers in atlanta tell me they send cars out to get them redone in leather

I was shocked but kept it in mind as I prefer leather by far . I tend to tear up drivers seat by frequent exits .Nice to know some hope of getting them redone . local upholstery shops not very good here. Leather shops in mexico used to be good when I was in california . Mexican labor in atlanta maybe where I go , I always go out to mexican restaurants while staying in atlanta anyway ..May put truck in shop there and rent a car for the mountain vacation .
Leather seats in my lariat not that comfortable but they are heated, there was a thread on how guys were modifying seats to make them more comfortable . Wife now will not accept car with out heated seats. Her new explorer has them and leather too .

I looked around online at some leather stuff but I didn't really see anything I liked. I don't mind to do the work myself but I need to find a good place to buy the cover. Everything I found so far looked cheap. If anyone has done this would you care to share where you got it done or bought them and how much it cost? Thanks for everyone's help.
