Cruise control issue

05 5.4l 3v s.crew lariat
You may have to get 06 diagram for pcm inputs on this .
I believe you are going to have to monitor volts for the set function and the brake stop function to pcm . Is your light indication now coming on in dash . I have one light on my 05 lariat == green . You may have to clip a voltmeter on pcm inputs thru wires fished on the outside with some one else driving and you observing meter. Check all your fuses bar none first . Every single one .
A leaking brake light switch can cause a false stop signal to pcm . That is why leds screw it up, they don't load that point down when brake off so you have to add load resistor . You could put a load resistor on there to see if that helps . Leds sometimes will cause a fast blink of turn signals too.
4x4truckleds has those resistors .
I have 05 cruise circuit and as you can see it has more than one brake input some are normally open, another is normally closed . Not a simple circuit . The throttle body controls the accell.
It also has more than one steering wheel slider . at least two fuses on this diagram 2 and 14 .
I would check that normal closed contact on brake bracket, if open will deactivate . Lift battery negative when working around this stuff .
