I have a 05 F150 with a 4.6 the cruise would work if I hit the brakes hard when on the high way it would come on but if I tapped on the brakes it would go off but not come back on till I hit the brakes hard it has gone out totally now and will not come on at all I changed the switch at the brake peddle but no help. Could the throttle motor or the TPS cause the problem

I had a very hard time reading this, but I think I understand the overall problem is your cruise control wont come on right? Do all 3 brake lights work? Are any of the bulbs in the brake lights LEDs?
