Default Cracked leaf springs

I got new shocks and the guys at the shop also said I have a cracked leaf spring. I have a super lift 6 inch lift. They told me it would be about $400 just for a new leaf spring set because I only could get them through a dealer is that true? Anyone else had cracked leaf springs?

^^^ what he said. Superlift is a popular brand, and replacing leaf springs aren't too bad of a job.

But you could always use a different brand of springs if you wanted.

Go with Atlas springs... and you do not have to get them ONLY from a dealer... why are you paying somebody to install rear shocks...it's sooo simple..

I had cracked my leafs off roading and i went to ford to get a quote and they quoted me $450 for one side and it was about $600 with labor.....i was like F*** that!!! I did some searching around and found sdtrucksprings.com. i got both sides, shipped to my house, and had them installed by a local shop for a little over $500 and that was even with upgrading to packs with an extra leaf than i had before
