Yea I've been meaning to for awhile now and finally got around to it. Around Christmas I'll be going to Fort Worth and take a little road trip to some land we've got so expect a whole bunch more around then.

That reminds me, anyone it the DFW area want to meet up around December 11th and take some pictures?

No it's actually a Cannon Rebel XS, or 1000D whichever you prefer. These were taken with just the regular standard lens.

Are you in the market for a DSLR?

Kinda. Every time I look into spending that kind of money on a camera, I look in my closet and see my Minolta QTSi that I have only used maybe 10 times. I bought the 75x300 zoom lens and a couple light filters and a bunch of other stuff a long time ago but never use it anymore.

Yea I understand. I did a bunch of reading on dpreview.com and found a Canon A590is would be a good starter camera for me, and then after having it a few months I looked into something to take my pictures up a notch and that's where my "entry" level DSLR I have right now came into play. I've always liked photography so spending the money wasn't that big of a deal since it's something I enjoy, and a good camera will last for quite awhile.

Camera's are the cheap part, the lenses not so much.
