Default COP boots & springs

I have an intermittent misfire under light load like many have stated here before. The plugs were replaced about 15k ago & it went away. Now it is back & if I remember correctly a few of the boots & springs seemed ready for replacement. At the time I was in a hurry & did not replace them. From what I can find out the Motorcraft boots don't include new springs. Is there a quality replacement that does include the springs? It seems like BWD, Duralast & a few others come with the springs. Any suggestions or comments? Thanks,

Rockauto had the best selection and price when I replaced mine on my 06 4.6. Multiple quality name brands for $2-4 each with springs.

I bought mine from Oriley's. As long as they appear to be the same quality as OEM most aftermarket boots/springs will work.

‘A/C Delco boots and springs are a exact match for OEM.. don’t forget a dab of dielectric grease in each boot end for a good seal. I use a Q-tip to smear it around the inside of the boot ends. What brand plugs were installed?

I bought mine of rockauto. I went with the cheapest ones. They were wholesale packaged as Car Quest boots. They have been working fine for the last 25k.

Thanks for all the advice & suggestions. I went with the Denso boots & springs. I've used Denso products before & know they are good parts. Was thinking about using the AC Delco but that didn't seem right. GM parts on a Ford is sacrilegious & an insult! I'm going to pull the plugs & check them also for carbon tracking. I used Motorcraft SP 515 plugs I believe. I do know they were Motorcraft & only have about 15K on them. Thanks Again!

Finally got around to changing my COP boots after it thew a code for #3 misfire. After getting the boots off & inspecting the coils I was surprised at the amount of green corrosion on the spade connector on the coil. Is there a good way to clean that off? Electrical parts cleaner won't touch it. I thought about battery cleaner but think it might be to strong.

A bit of steel wool and the electrical parts cleaner will do the trick.
