Cooper Zeon Ltz blowout
this happened to me last week. Tires about 2 years old. The sidewall just failed at 60mph. I read on a review on another website this happened to other people as well.
My next tire will be Nitto Ridge Grapplers.....................

My truck doesn’t have tpms so yes that could have happened but I did fill it a week prior. Could of had a leak and the temps dropped to 3 degrees that day. So can’t rule out user errror.

Glad it wasn't on the front.. could of been a tad bit more challenging to handle.

That stucks, agree with the low pressure destroying the sidewall. Make sure you get your rim checked for run-out, or it'll never drive smooth.

Not going to lie, I came into this thread thinking there was a huge blowout sale on Coopers.
Low pressure causes them to blow out, but so would too much air. What did you air them up to?

I have Cooper ZEON LTZ 305/50/20s on my 2006 FX-4 Nice looking tire and low sound but that's about where the praise ended. Should be called a LT (Limited Terrain) tire as they suck in the sand and snow. I nearly got stuck in a sand parking lot in SoCal several times leaving my favorite surf spot. Now in Nebraska, I noticed how quickly the tread fills with snow, leaving me with basically racing slicks. Worst winter tire ever! I got stuck yesterday in about half a foot of snow. I couldn't even make it out of a neighborhood due to the street incline and had to have a F-150 with COOPER STT Pros literally tow me out. I am looking at the Ridge Grapplers also after this embarrassing moment. Please tell me how they perform if you get them. For now I'm driving around my Grand Cherokee as it does well in the snow but I want to invest in some tires for next winter.
