So essentially anything in the 11th Gen is compatible to swap parts etc. however I am wondering about other generations parts. More specifically seats and beds. I have an 05 with an 8ft bed and it seems like there are newer beds 2014+ for sale around me. It would probably be more cost effective and efficient to just throw a new bed as oppose to restoring the current bed on my truck as the paint is faded/peeling and there are a few rust holes in it as well. Would I be able to just throw a 2014 8ft bed on it and it should bolt up? Would a F250 bed be completely out of the question? I know the body lines wont match up but if it bolts right on and fits the gas filler neck all good that would be pretty sick.

Another thing, seats, would seats from newer generations bolt right up to the 11th gens? I would like to replace the center jumpseat with a more modern one that comes with a center console but it seems like the only ones for sale around me come from newer generation trucks.

I wish there was a clear answer instead of guess work involved. I might just have to be the guinea pig for this experiment.

 

09-14 F150 beds will swap. Along with super cab front doors. Crew and regular cab doors grew 6”.

15-20 and 21+ beds will not be a direct swap by any means and will look terrible.

No clue about seats, but I’m guessing nothing is just a direct plug in play swap.
