Default Cold Morning issues

Ok so here is my problem, I have a 06 XLT 4.6 and the past two mornings it's been single digit temps and I've had problems starting up. When I try to start I get no response, and I mean nothing, the radio cuts out like normal but no crank, not even the slightest attempt to crank. Then after about 10 minutes or so I try again and it cranks up with no problem and has no issues for the rest of the day. I think it might be a battery issue but I have fine volts when i get out to the truck in the morning. I am going to go get the battery tested this weekend but is there anything else it can be? I've searched but can't seem to find anybody who has absolutely no noise then fine start up 10 minutes later.

As I once had to explain to one of my old bosses, even a dead battery can show 12 volts. It's the cranking amps that are needed to start the engine. As for cold morning starts, I've heard of turning on your headlights for a minute or two actually works. Also, you may take a charger that has a 2 amp trickle to it and hook that up over night.
