Yes it will...when I added my cai I gained about 1.5 to 2 mpg. My dad also had a cai on his 04 acura tl and went from 27 mpg to 31 mpg on the interstate. I still think its the best mod to do before the programmer.

Agreed. It will probably get worse because you will be more eager to press the gas because it makes a neat sucking sound.
