I noticed my drivers side spring looks collapsed and has a bow in it. When i look online there are 2 different types, heavy duty and standard and they both say for a 96'' bed. Does the bed size really matter and will the heavy duty ride rougher or add more height to the front? Im going to add a level kit as well while ive got it apart so i dont know if that should matter when choosing HD or standard. Ive tried to search this topic but found no answer so i figured someone would know. Thanks in advance.

Yes HD will ride rougher. Unless ur putting a snow plow or something of the like on just go with ur standard coil.

Thanks! Thats what i figured but wasnt exactly sure. It figures they only have the HD in stock at the auto parts store,lol

It doesnt matter that my truck is an FX4 does it? Didnt know if they maybe had the HD on it oem

Nope, the HD spring came stock on the HD 7-lug trucks all the others had the standard spring stock. Both springs will fit on ur truck tho.
