what about the fuel control module above the spare tire? have you ruled that out by replacing it with the new version with the spacers? my 08 is corroded through already.

Coils throw codes P030_ My number 8 cylinder COP is bad and shows P0308 for example.

Check Amazon for parts, my COP was only $15

I'm thinking of changing my coil packs...its super sluggish and feels like a 4 cyl. I got 118 k on it and my brothers with 68k and no chip has crazy acceleration. Should I go with OEM coils or some performance ones?

Not much gain with performance ones. OEM ones are expensive. Alot of people including myself have gone with the accel brand. You can buy 8 of them for about $200 on Amazon. I had 2 coil packs go bad, and was told they usually all go out around the same time. So I replaced them, I had 119k on the originals. Even the off brand ones at the auto store were expensive. However after reading the reviews on the accels, none of which were bad, I bought them. Make sure you get the ones that say 3 on the end for the 3 valve 5.4. Also buy some dielectric grease to put between the coil boot and the spark plug. Its not too hard of a job.
