Has anyone here ever used Car Computer Exchange or Circuit Board Medics for their PCMs? I don't have dealership money and I need my truck back on the road like 2 weeks ago. Circuit Board Medics says that they can repair my original PCM. Car Computer Exchange says they will ship a programmed PCM but I may have to get new keys. Does anyone here have any experience with either of these companies or have another that they would recommend that is not the dealership?

What makes you think you need a new PCM?
fwiw You would not be the first person to replace one and have it not solve an issue they thought was the PCM.

number 7 injector driver is shorted to ground. Have constant fuel delivery to cylinder 7 anytime the key is in the in position. I know it isn't the wiring because I spliced into the wire about 6 inches away from the connector at the pcm and I visually inspected the plug and pcm to verify there aren't any bent pins or anything.

So if you unplug the injector and probe the ground side of the plug it's constantly grounded? And not just that the injector has failed stuck open?

As far as the PCM I have no experience replacing one successfully. The ignition keys have to be programmed into the PCM so if you get a replacement rather than send out your existing one you will need to program keys into it using forscan. Or some sellers include new blank keys, which are preprogrammed.into the PCM but that you would then stipp need to have cut to fit your ignition.
