Default Clunk over bumps

Hi peeps !

Was wondering if anybody had that little problem before or sounded familiar: everytime I got over any sort of bump on the roads, even at low speed, I hear clunkin noises like if metal pieces would hit each other. I know I don't have anything in the bed back there cuz it's coming from the back.

Any pointers on what I should be looking at or what it could be ?

Help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Does it sound like the front end? I would be checking at least your tie rod ends, sway bar links, and ball joints for any play. From what you described it could be any of these.

http://bigaslife.com/imageGallery/Fo...talledNear.jpg Most likely a sway bar end link. If you jack it up, by the frame, you should be able to easily see it's broken. This is a picture of a new one installed-from google images...not mine.Easy fix.

Thanks a lot for your replies. Seems to come from the back but might be the front too. Will check into that.

Mine did. It was the leaf pack smacking my dual exhaust pipe.

Check your leaf springs. Both of mine broke this past year. They will make a clunking sound as well.
