There is this guy on eBay who sells these roof cab lights, I think for around $100. But the main reason I mention him is because he provides proper templates so you know exactly where to drill. I haven't purchased this set yet but plan too soon after seein these pics with them already on.

Tristateauto is the sellers name. Here is a current listing number for one of the sets. 350305521010. Looks like it would be 130 shipped. Not bad for harness, template, lights, PHONE SUPPORT, etc. One other thing...
I thought I read in here that someone wanted to maybe wire the outside lights to coincide with the blinkers? Can't find the thread though. Anyways, Why not run the power source for those each seperate down their respect A-pillars and tie that into your mirror harness which has the blinker there already? Just thought of this, not sure if it would work really, just throwin it out there cuz thats what I wanna do.

Yes it would work,However tho, then your cab lights(2tied into the mirrors)would only come when you turn your blinker on.Then you would only have the middle 3 on all at the same time. Also you would have to run separate wires to the mirror harness for the two outside ones, then the 3inside ones ya gotta run separate, big hassle.can be done, but you want that much of a hassle?

Also $130.00,wow.Kinda high to me.Again everyone who is afraid of doing this themselves, grow a sack, lol. The drilling isn't horrible at all,not one bit.A template you say, just line up the lights with your roof notches, grab a sharpie(fine tip of course)mark a dot in the holes of the lights, drill baby drill and their, your done.Don't need no stinken template, lol.

Two best bets for running to a constant power source,to the batery,or to your dome light where there is a constant(positive)source of power.

Wow, had never really thought of these on a F150, but after seeing the pics I have to say I like... Especially the smoked ones on darker trucks... Mines black, hmmm.

yes i would want that much hassle. Lol. especially if it gets me what I want. I mean, we're talking an extra 30 min of running a wire? done! One other question, you state that if I run them off the mirror harness, they would only come on when I blinker? Why is it that the turn signals act as running lights until you signal, then they blink? Couldnt you wire the 2 outside cab lights exactly as the mirrors are, thus having 5 running cab lights, and blinkers? tascaparts.com has the pin locations so locating what is what is already done, just a matter of running the correct wire, is this all right? I'm not much into wiring so I could be wrong. Its happened before

Yes, 130 is high if all you need is the lights/harness (gorecon.com = $90). 130 might not be high for those that need/want the template and customer support.

Well if you want the hassle,go ahead bro, lol.

Your mirror lights are not a constant(positive)source of power.Their only constant when you put your turn signal on.In order to have them stay on,you need a constant(positive)power source thats always on,and that could be to your battery,or your dome light. Also make sure theirs toggle switch to turn them on and off.Hope all that made sense, lol.

Somewhat sense. So if I wanted to have both running lights and the outter 2 turn signals, I would have to run not only the wire to the mirror harness, but also a constant source, and that would allow me to have 5 running + 2 turns? Thanks for your help in explaining this out to me!

Yes you are correct. Now do you know to gain access to the mirror harness? If so,then your golden.Once your past that, you do know you have to splice into the harness wiring right?
