NGM is spot on about the Edge, it's canned tunes and takes no modifications into account. The Xcal II is custom tuned by a custom tuner (I would highly recommend Troyer Performance) taking all of your mods into account. Even if your truck is bone stock I would still go with the Xcal over the Edge simply because it is tuned for your truck and not for every other F150 on the road.

As for CAI I would HIGHLY recommend the Air Force 1. Give the folks at Troyer Performance a call and talk to them about your desires. Mike specializes in custom tuning our F150's and has been doing it for over 15 years now. He's widely regarded as the top custom tuner for our trucks.

SCT was founded by a Ford engineer who has forgotten more about Ford EECs than anyone else knows.

The Xcal2 with tunes usually runs about $375. Keep in mind that the xcal does more than just flash the EEC, its also a DTC scanner and when used with the serial-USB cable and LiveLink software on a laptop, you can datalog about 25 different parameters at once.
