My son also ordered some Vinyl Inlay Letters for the F-150 Emblems as well as a Vinyl Overlay for both Blue Oval Emblems from A1Superdecals on Ebay. He is located in Canada so they took about 8 days to get here. I decided to put them on "wet" using Rapid Tac. I use Rapid Tac on all my decals it lets you move them around just a tad so they go on perfect. Then just squeegee from the center out. Then used a Heat Gun to stretch and form them.

Wife just called and she is on her way home so gotta go. Promised her I wouldn't spend the whole weekend in the Garage working on the Kid's Truck. Not sure what the next Weekend Project will be. The Kid just got paid and has been spending alot of time on the internet so no telling what will show up for me to do! Let me know what you think so far.

Thanks,

Weekend Project Master

Trucks coming together nicely! Thanks for showing all the paint you used. It'll make things a lot easier for me when I start getting into more painting projects. Has your son found any after market head or tail lights? On my truck I was going for the white, black, and machined aluminum theme and the stock red taillights drove me nuts. I finally blacked them out (which on most trucks I don't like) leaving the reverse light clear and I loved how it turned out. I've also scene on here where someone bought aftermarket taillights then painted the inside of the housing white instead of how all of them come black or chrome. It looked good and would probably be easy for you haha. Also check out Stage3motoports.com. They have a ton of aftermarket parts that will compliment your truck and they cater to just Fords. Keep up the good work!

Thanks! He is definately looking at different Headlights and Taillights. I think he is wanting to go for a Blacked Out or Smoke option. Right now he has a list of everything that he wants done i.e. Magnaflow Dual Exhaust, Edge Evolution, Upgrading the Stereo, PDR on a couple small dings, Bak Flip Tonneau Cover, Light Bar, etc. He is realizing he can't do everything at once. I am making him put a percentage of his paycheck in savings. Learning to Budget is a good thing. He works hard and goes to College Full Time. And you know you also have to have enough money left over to chase girls!

Since I don't race anymore I have really enjoyed playing in the garage again. Not too mention hanging out with my son!
