Its not perfect but I don't care it's something I did. I have a guy that I can get to cut me some vinyls that will be exact and I can redo them.

Monday im going to attempt the headlights. I just need some silicone. And find a full write up on how to just to be positive.

Oh and a tip go grab a roll of 1/4in masking tape and go to town. It'll come to you as you do it.

Nope just cleaned it up and used krylon fusion for plastics. I want to do above and below it as well just don't have any more paint. I hadn't thought of the vents. How'd you get them out? Did you have to mask of lf the fins or do those separate from the chrome?

Any tips on removing the chrome from the assembly and on reassembly?
Just be patient while doing it and clean them really good before you put them in the oven. I just sanded all the chrome off by hand took about two hours... Also make sure you don't sand or paint the mirrors. Get all the old silicon out of the grooves also using a air dryer to keep it soft. On reassembly just use a good amount of silicon all around and use some sort of strap to hold it all together while the silicon cures.

I like the plastidip on the hood I'm going to attempt some stuff one day with it. Not sure what color I want to accent with. I have grey on my wheels so I may try some grey plastidip.
