Question Changing trans lines

this may sound stupid but I have a trans cooler line that goes into the radiator, and the line is just to small. is it safe to heat it up and jam a screw driver in it to slightly make it bigger. I get this is discouraged but I'm desperate and almost cannot wait to reorder a part. I would get it really hot to discourage the line from cracking and obviously wouldn't full force happen it but highly tap it in to get it just big enough.

FYI - they make both metric and standard diameter tubing. You are likely using the wrong one.

Are you referring to part no. 2 in the diagram?

No. Not a good idea to do that with an OEM line.

Thanks artsr2002! That’s exactly what I was hoping for. I ordered the cooler lines and tool and will post when I’m done with it. Thanks again, I really appreciate the help
