I used royal purple... Its good stuff... I have all RP in my 08

But i run nothing but Lucas in my f250... And have been since like 05..

A little tip about the rear end....

After you let it all drain... run your hand on the inside of the punkin... and at the bottom theres like a little area like 3/4 inch deep.. pull all that fluid out also.. And check that whole area for chucks of anything... I usually spray everything down with brake cleaner.. and then wipe out that bottom "pooling" area... ... I also took the vent tube off and made sure it was clean.. and then when i put that back together i put clamps on it.. From the factory there is no clamps..
