Center console shifter
 

Has anybody ever done anything custom to the center console shifter? Something that makes it different. I love the shifter but it scratches sooo easy!! Pictures would be lovely :)

I've got mine leather wrapped (matches the lariat tan leather) from ranchitout.

Yeah the shifter, the chrome of whatever that surrounds it. Different color led bulbs. Is it possibly to get a different shifter?

Other than swapping for the Mark LT or Leather wrapping, I haven't seen a real swap for it, and nothing that changed the chrome.

You could disassemble, sand, and paint it.

That mark lt shifter is nice! Hmm darn.. theres a ton of interior parts i would LOVE to paint.. but im at an amature skill level when it comes to paint

LOL!! Considering mine is still new.. i won't be practicing on there! I'd just love to do something custom to the interior.. nobody on this site that I've seen really do anything to the inside but change the green lights to blue

How did you get the center console woodgrain? And that shifter is nice

The woodgrain console came with a dealer installed package on my truck (as well as the dash and steering wheel). You can get 3m stick on packages from several companies online and on ebay, that look similiar (no idea if they match the factory wood stuff like mine though).
