Can't Figure out where these Wire's go (See Pic)
Greetings Everyone, Yesterday I got in my trusty 2004 ford F150 cranked it up and cut on the A/C. While sitting there getting my music set for the road I notice the air was not cooling down.
I looked down at odometer and it said check gauges. I said what the heck is going on. I thought at first maybe my serpentine belt had broke. When I pop the I immediately saw two wire that was
freshly chew up. One is yellow with a green strip and the other one gray with a red strip. I've been top to bottom and can't for the life of me find where I can splice them back or replace.
Any help that anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Update: After taking the truck for a drive temperature gauge is not working. I suspect the of the wires go the coolant sensor. But having trouble locate the sensor. My manual doesn't even show it. Maybe under the alternator?

Thanks for your help. That's what it turned out to be. It's going to need a new harness. Wires to close to the sensor, will have to take alt off to get to it. The sensor must be on the same circuit with A/C
having trouble locating the right fuse. Owners manual not helping much. There is lot of fuses, anyone know which might the CHT sensor fuse? Thanks for all of your help.

The CHT sensor is a pcm input that tells the pcm how hot the engine is, the pcm will then disengage the a/c to help prevent overheating. It's interpreting the lack of signal as an over heat event. There is no individual fuse for it. Fix the wires and the a/c should start working again provided nothing else is wrong.
