Can't buff headlights anymore

An alternative I do with all my vehicles is apply a clear film product (like Xpel or 3M, no affiliation...) to the headlights. Either before they have a chance to haze, or immediately after I buff them to remove the haze. The film stops any future oxidation of the plastic lens from occurring. Works great at keeping them clear, and offers minor protection from rock chips.
You can buy model-specific precut headlight film from companies like Xpel, for around $50 if I recall. Installs easily like window tint. I have just found a local tint shop that will supply and apply film for $40 total for both headlights.
Again, the film has worked great for me on multiple vehicles. No more yellowing / hazing of the lens.
