Default Cannot decide on Lift

Hey everyone, I own an 06 xlt 5.4 4x4. I recently have been doing alot fo searchign here and on another forum about Lift kits as I will hopefuly be doing one soon. I want to do a 6" suspension lift but i cannot decide on which to do. Ive read many threads about comparison of some and i knwo you get what you pay for but with that said i will mainly be doing it all for looks. Probably little to absolutley no offroad. I was readin that the RCX with bilstiens upfront was a good cheaper choice but i also read that some people had problems with them. but then I was looking at the BDS, seems to be the most highquality lift in my opinon but with the different leafs, shocks and the stearing stabilizer its nearly 3200$. As i belive you get what you pay for i want that one but the price is just killer. and then i was thinking to myself that i prob wont be going offroad does it really matter?

I did a Fabtech lift and haven't looked back besides the fact I wish I did 8" kit. Though I got it for a steal at $2000, then I stacked another 2". Hell I even got a steal on install at $400.

I have the 4" Rancho, but the RCX 6" was my second choice. I just found a better deal on the rancho at the time..

As far as stabilizers go, this turned me the other direction instantly. Link

Wow! thats crazy..i guess that answers that question. Thanks alot..I guess im just trying to do it as cheap as possible w/o losing as much ride quality with a 6" lift and 35s. im leaning most tword the RCX with the 6" bilsteins up front. Ive heart those are smooth struts

Bilsteins will be a tad stiffer than factory, ive ran them. Tires are what will kill alot of the ride. Mud terrains are made to be tough and will be a bigger factor than you might think on the ride.

Cool, yea i figured the tires were going to kill the ride, thats why i was going to try and see if the bilsteins would compensate it. you said you had them before..is it worth the 288$ \? or i guess that depends on personal ride opinion.
