can you use rancho quicklifts with a lift kit

I have a rcx 4 inch lift kit and I put the rancho quick lifts on when I did my lift everything fit perfect no issues.

I was told(By Rancho) that a quicklift will NOT give you any extra lift height in conjunction with a lift kit.. I have the Rancho 4" and was looking to go higher via the quicklift option and Rancho told me that i would actually LOOSE height.. But you can use them..
