Default Can a Supercab 6.5 bed exhaust fit on a Supercrew 5.5??

A friend of mine just got a 2006 supercab Harley Davidson and he wants to upgrade to a louder exhuast like so many. I for one love the Harley exhaust and this its just perfect. Has anyone every done this, he would give it to me for free, needs to be shined up quite a bit, but he would give me the catback and he is getting a new one.

I hope it does, but I frankly dont know what it would take.

wheelbases are different, but I believe you can just cut a section out of the midpipe and it'll fit right up. Someone correct me if im wrong

Definitely can be done. Just need some modification.

I believe the hangers won't line up but any exhaust shop can make it work.

it's a 10 year old system.. not sure how long it will last you. agree with above.. a muffle shop will make it fit for you.

Its 10 yrs old, which means its one year newer then mine so its working out great for me so far. I just dont feel spending 600 to 900 dollars on an exhaust is smart when I can possibly get exactly what i want for a maybe 100 bucks.

Dead thread, I know. But I'm curious as to how this worked out. I'm looking to go a similar route.

The Harley exhaust is similar to the Raptor exhaust from a 2010. I have a Raptor take off from a 2011 6.2 on my 04 extended cab FX4, and other than having to cut and weld the pipes to get the length right, there was only one hanger my exhaust shop had to make, and it was only off by around 4 inches. The sound is a good mix of OEM tameness on the highway, and. pretty nice growl when you're really on it.
