Cam Phaser Opinions
I have a buddy of mine that I've been helping look into his "ticking" cam phaser. We have read into the problems and have seen where it's either something definately needed to be fixed asap or else its nothing to lose sleep over but some input would be nice either way thanks ahead guys.

The longer you put them off, the worse they'll get. I've removed cam phasers in pieces, rather than an assembly. The roll pins that hold them together will eventually fall apart.
Make the sure the oil is changed as well. Every 5000 miles or less. Low oil levels and lack of proper maintenance is what kills them.
