Default Cam Moved, How to time?

So I am replacing my cam phasers, and when I removed my chain the camshaft sprocket and the camshaft spun. How can I make sure everything is timed right? There are no marks on the old chains and there are no marks on my replacement chains. I want to make sure everything is timed perfect before I put it all back together. Any help is appreciated to ensure perfect accuracy.

Me and my buddy working on this both looked and both sides on both old and new chains and there are no different colored links. The timing kit I bought came from advanced auto parts.

I read if you lay the chain like this ======| the end links are your timing marks. Can anyone verify this?
