Good info. I never "opened" the circuit board assembly once it was removed from the radio trim. I'll guess the fan switch plugs into the circuit board?

Actually, no. The switch snaps into the small plastic box which the PC board is mounted, but there is no connection between the two. You simply open the small black box that contains both, snap out the old switch and snap in the new. Close it all back up and re-assemble.

I should note, once that high density connector is disconnected from the PC board, the whole system must go into some sort of reset. Once you reconnect it, power on the vehicle, the fan doesn't work for a minute or so, then all of a sudden it turns on.
