A/c question

just picked up another ff150 xlt. has a 4.6 in it and the ac donesnt blow. but when i start driving it was blow the tinyest bit but none of the controls will make it blow and harder or will it shut it off. it just starts coming outta the vents. please help with what could be wrong. i added a can off freeon, thinking there wasnt enough to turn on the compressor.

Are you talking about the air speed or temp

the air speed. i cant get it to even cut on at idle it only it blows but the tinyest bit when driving

OK don't add anymore freon. I would start at the fuse, then the blower motor resistor then the blower motor itself.

anyone?

Air flow and ac charge circuits are two totally different things. Sounds like you have a blower motor not coming on. Check fuses first

Your a/c has nothing to do with your problem. Its all about airspeed which comes from your blower motor. You will blow your compressor up if you add anymore freon.

yup it was just the bower motor fuse thanks :)

Now you need to go to a good shop that works on air conditioners and get the system back to the proper level. You can do a lot of damage by adding that can of refrigerant. I assume you just added it and didn't put the proper gauges on both sides of the system.
