No thats my buds vette. If you look closely he has a 32 Ford coupe in the garage. I basically had to sell it for two reasons. First my youngest is now getting her lic. And she wants a ol' bronco. Plus I need the space for her car. My other two kids each have a mustang, plus my truck and the wife's vehicle, I am running out of garage and driveway space. LOL.

I took her to the beach today just like last week, Wife came along also. Got in the truck about 1:30, same time as last week. Temp was 88, last week was 89-90. My wife noticed a difference right away, and actually turned the fan to 3 from 4 setting. The idle temp. is at 40 degrees, driving is 49 degrees. So it did help bring it down a degree or two. The A/C is bearable now. I still would like it Ice cold. But for now it is acceptable. Maybe in the future Ill have it evaked and re charged. See if that helps it.

Yeah usually vehicles are that way, due to the flow of air cooling the fins. But on my truck when I come to a light the air drops and gets cooler, then as I go it warms up. Anyone have any thoughts on this??? I originally thought maybe my fan clutch was bad. But this wouldn't happen once the truck is operating a normal temp. Because the only air it would be getting at a stand still is the air from the fan. So the fan must be working. Is my logic on this wrong?

OK again I will say check the system, but maybe the fixed orifice valve is clogged? If you have them evac the system, open it up and change the FO.

OK, I decided to recheck the A/C pressure last night. I used the generic pressure gauge that comes with 134R cans. When I unscrewed the low pressure side valve cap it was all Bright yellow/green. I took a rag and cleaned the inside of the cap off and the valve. So I am assuming the valve is leaking. I was wondering if I could tighten the inside valve stem like on tires? At this time I had a full can of 134R (16oz) in my garage. So I attempted to charge the system. It took the WHOLE CAN and the pressure did not go up. Whats the deal???
